How Mediazoo collects, uses, shares and protects personal data — for people who complete our campaign funnels, and for visitors to this website.

LAST UPDATED: 2026 · TEMPLATE VERSION

This is a drafting template, not legal advice. It covers the topics a lead generation business normally has to address, written in plain language. Have your own counsel review and adapt it — particularly the sections on legal basis, retention periods and international transfers — before you publish.

1. Who we are

Mediazoo (“we”, “us”) is a lead generation and performance marketing company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Insert your full legal entity name, licence number, registered address and the contact details of your data protection contact here.

For data collected through campaign funnels we run on behalf of an advertiser, we generally act as a data processor for that advertiser and as a controller for our own operational purposes. The specific arrangement is set out in the data processing agreement with each advertiser.

2. What we collect

From campaign participants

  • Contact details you provide: name, phone number, email address and preferred contact time.
  • Qualification answers you give in the funnel: for example budget band, purchase timeline, employment type or business activity.
  • Technical data associated with your submission: IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, referring campaign, creative identifier and timestamp.
  • Your consent record: the wording you agreed to, when, and on which page.

From website visitors

  • Information you submit through the contact form on this site.
  • Standard server logs and, where you consent to them, analytics identifiers.
  • Preferences stored locally in your browser, such as your light or dark theme choice. This is stored on your device and is not transmitted to us.

3. Why we use it

  • To deliver the service you asked for — passing your enquiry to the advertiser whose offer you responded to, so they can contact you.
  • To verify quality — checking that details are valid, not duplicated and consistent with the campaign's requirements.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse — detecting automated submissions and invalid traffic.
  • To improve our campaigns — analysing which creative and funnel designs perform, usually in aggregated form.
  • To meet legal and contractual obligations — including keeping consent records and responding to regulatory requests.

Insert the legal bases you rely on in each relevant jurisdiction — typically consent for marketing contact, legitimate interests for fraud prevention and service improvement, and contractual necessity for delivering the enquiry.

4. Who we share it with

  • The advertiser whose offer you responded to. They are named at the point of consent and become responsible for how they contact you thereafter.
  • Service providers who help us operate: hosting, communications, verification and analytics vendors, each under written agreements.
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell personal data to data brokers, and we do not add campaign participants to unrelated marketing lists.

5. International transfers

Data may be processed outside the country where it was collected, including in jurisdictions used by our hosting and service providers. Describe your safeguards here — contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or equivalent — and the regions in which you host data.

6. How long we keep it

Retention periods are set per campaign and recorded in the relevant data processing agreement. As a general position: enquiry records are retained for the period needed to support the advertiser relationship, verification disputes and legal record-keeping, after which they are deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Insert your actual periods.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to request access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address in section 10. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

If you responded to a campaign and want to stop being contacted by the advertiser, tell us and we will pass the request on — but you may also need to contact the advertiser directly, as they hold their own copy of your record.

8. Security

We encrypt personal data in transit and at rest, restrict access on a need-to-know basis, log access to lead records, and review our controls periodically. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected individuals and regulators of a qualifying breach as required by law.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses only what it needs to function, plus any analytics you consent to. Campaign landing pages and funnels may set additional identifiers for attribution and fraud prevention; these are described in the notice shown on those pages. Insert your cookie table and consent mechanism details here.

10. Contact

Questions, requests or complaints about this policy: privacy@mediazoo.example, or write to us at the registered address above. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use existing data will be notified directly where we are able to do so.
